Faith Community Network of College Park entered into discussions with the Prince George’s County Police and University of Maryland (UMD) police in order to see what the faith communities could do to promote community well-being, address issues like violence, and needs like homelessness, as a coordinated network. As participants in those discussions, we believe that by working together through prayer and coordinated action, the faith communities can make a positive impact on those issues.
